A Beautiful Double-Layered Design

What makes Design #6 especially unique is its smaller, raised decorative center star.

Rather than sitting flat against the larger star, the smaller star is stepped forward, allowing warm light to shine through its intricate cutouts and around its edges.

This dimensional construction creates a beautiful combination of light, shadow, and depth while highlighting the delicate hearts, leaves, and starburst details.

The result is an eye-catching wooden light that looks beautiful whether illuminated or turned off.

Want to combine two different wood species? We can do that!

Choose one wood for the smaller raised star and another for the larger background star.

For example, a maple center star paired with a walnut background creates a beautiful contrast that emphasizes the layered construction.

Simply select your wood option and leave your preferred two-tone combination in the note section when adding your light to the cart. Please specify which wood you would like for the smaller raised star and which for the larger background star.

Your chosen combination will be used on both sides.

Our Welcome Lights are carefully designed and handcrafted in our Minnesota workshop using modern woodworking techniques.

Unlike stars assembled from numerous small pieces of wood glued together, our designs are precision laser-cut from larger, continuous panels. This creates a cleaner, more consistent appearance while reducing the need for multiple small glued joints.

We use genuine hardwood veneer with a stable MDF core, combining the natural beauty of real wood with the dimensional stability of engineered wood.

This construction offers several advantages:

-Dimensional Stability: The MDF core helps minimize expansion, contraction, and warping.
